Carnegie Mellon University – August, 2008

A professor at Carnegie Mellon University racked up three arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol within an eight-day span. As of this writing, it's unclear how the school plans to discipline the professor. He was found to have a BAC level of three times the limit allowed by the state.

Ellenton, Florida - August, 2008

In similar news, an Ellenton, FL woman was arrested for her tenth lifetime DUI. As a result of her numerous other arrests, she could face a significant jail time (up to five years, according to reports) if convicted.

United States – August, 2008

A man in the United Kingdom attempted to foil a breathalyzer test by sucking on a penny first. Despite this maneuver, the defendant was nevertheless arrested for driving over the limit and suspended from driving for a year-and-a-half and fined a significant amount.
